Gone with the Wind

"Gone with the Wind" is the nickname that ALF uses in reference to the family budget (Episode: "Varsity Drag"). Gone with the Wind is a book by Margaret Mitchell which was made into a classic American film.

In examining the family budget, ALF finds that the family spends a large amount of money on "miscellaneous," which primarily represents the extra expense of taking care of ALF.
