Come Fly With Me is the twenty-sixth and final episode of ALF's first season. This is the season finale. It originally aired in May 11th, 1987.
Synopsis[]
Prologue[]
The episode opens with ALF in the living room, excitedly telling Willie that he won a copy of Cat Lover’s magazine. Willie however knows that ALF didn’t win. What happened is that ALF filled out a bunch of Publisher’s Clearing House* forms and subscribed to the magazines; he did not win them, he bought them. Willie then opens the front door and a bunch of magazines slide into the house,
Act One[]
The family are in the kitchen and ALF reveals he won the family a trip to Rancho Estates and that he he won a talking toaster, as well as other goodies for the rest of the family. It is actually for listening to a sales pitch about some vacation homes and that the place is a 7 hour car ride away.
Trevor comes in and gives Willie a trash can with the inserts. Trevor sees the real estate offer that ALF was excited about, and he suggests that they go together because he loves going to them and that it's only a 2 hour plane ride away. He even offers to fly for free, having been a fighter pilot during the Korean War and that a friend if his lends him his plane on weekends. Willie agrees to take everyone but ALF then comes into the room dressed for the trip, and they break it to him that he can’t come.
During the flight, Trevor pretends to make captain’s announcements and pointing out interesting landmarks, while Lynn complains about the cargo they’re taking with them, which is a bunch of pigs, and then she asks why they have to fly facing backwards At the resort, Willie gives a nice tip to their host and the family gushes about how nice their room is. He opens the door to put something away and sees ALF.
Act Two[]
ALF reveals that he stowed away in Kate’s suitcase, having removed all of the clothes she packed, and says he did it to be with the family.. Trevor then discovers that they have adjoining rooms. Willie asks Trevor if they can go home, but Trevor says the plane is on its way to Central America. Lynn mentions she doesn't have any of her clothes, and Trevor says she could borrow one from Raquel. That night, Willie wanders around the living room while his family sleeps, because he hears the Ochmoneks snoring. He wakes up Lynn and then they panic when they realize they have no idea where ALF is. ALF then comes in with some catfish that he caught; he wanted to surprise the Tanners.
The Tanners hear Trevor and ALF goes to the bathroom to hide, and uses Willie's shaver on the catfish not knowing catfish don't have scales. The family tells Trevor they want to stay in the room, (because they don't want to leave ALF alone) but Trevor reminds them that they all need to attend a mandatory sales pitch at dinner in exchange for the trip
The entire family goes down to dinner and Willie frets about ALF being alone in the room, but Lynn assures him that everything’s going to be fine, because he has the talking toaster to keep him company. Back in the hotel room, ALF is seen using his toaster and a big pile of bread(from the toaster)is shown as ALF requests more bread. ALF then tries to toast his catfish in the toaster. During the sales pitch Raquel scolds her husband for chowing down on shellfish because he’s allergic. Willie notices ALF running outside with a fire extinguisher, and Willie runs out in a panic
Afterwards, on the plane ride home Trevor speaks to Willie about having been kicked out of the hotel believing it only ever happened to rock stars, and about the bad smell from the burnt fish. Trevor asks Raquel to get him some medicine as he's beginning to feel dizzy from the shellfish he ate, and Raquel goes into the bathroom at which point Trevor hallucinating about being back in the war due to all the shellfish he ate, and passes out. Everyone panics and ALF offers to fly the plane back home, but Willie is hesitant about this since he can’t even handle a toaster. ALF takes control of the aircraft, while Kate and Lynn pushes on the bathroom door to stop Raquel from getting out and seeing ALF
Epilogue[]
Back at home, Trevor thanks Willie for helping land the plane and Kate thanks Raquel for lending her a dress. Raquel suggests they do another vacation. ALF is in the kitchen trying to fix the broken toaster and asks the family to thank him for saving everyone.

Syndication Cut[]
There is an unknown scene after where Willie said, "Maybe so we can keep an eye on the pigs......". This was an unfinished sentence before setting to where the Tanners find their hotel room. The cut out scene is commercially unavailable, or possibly even lost.
